Federal Government approves 8 universities in Nigeria
Federal Government of Nigeria approved 8 new universities to be cited in different parts of the country on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016.
However, the universities are all privately-owned, according to a report by The Punch. President of Nigeria,
General Muhammadu Buhari presided over the meeting which included cabinet members of his administration.
The meeting was held at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, the country’s capital city. The universities, according to the report include: Anchor University, Ayobo, Lagos; Clifford University; Coal City University; Dominican University, Ibadan, Kola Daisi University, Ibadan; Legacy University, Okija etc.
