received and acted on. Bappa made this disclosure at the zone's media briefing in Maiduguri. "The resumption of its operations in the area came as a priority under the leadership of the current acting Chairman, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu, who is poised to drive the vision, mission, and objectives of EFCC to greater height. Since its resumption of activities, the EFCC, has recorded remarkable achievement in the area of monetary recoveries," said Bappa.

The Zonal Head warned members of the public to shun all acts of corruption or be prepared to face the wrath of the law as the Commission will spare nobody.
Bappa further affirmed the resolve of the Commission to check corruption in the Internally Displaced Persons, IDP, camps in the North East.

"We will ensure that there is transparency, accountability and judicious use of the money allocated to the IDP camps in Maiduguri and elsewhere. We have started gathering intelligence after which culprits behind the sufferings in the people will be invited", he disclosed.
