- IDENTIFY YOUR STRENGTHS
When you are loaded with too many responsibilities, concentrate on your areas of strength where you can achieve maximum productivity and easily excel and humbly admit and re - assign other tasks to people who have strengths in the other areas. Engage in activities that you are familiar with or knowledgeable and passionate about so that preparing for it will not be difficult or stressful.




- MANAGE YOUR TIME EFFECTIVELY
Stop filling your days with events that don't have any bearing to your vision, most important goals or purpose in life. Many waste precious time following worthless pursuits in the name of being busy. You can be busy yet not necessarily accompanying anything.

- SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CHILDREN
Relating with the right kind of people goes a long way in cushioning the effect of negative or stressful situations.

- DELEGATE
Get competent hands and learn to delegate task and responsibilities to them. The problem most of us have is that we aren't ready to employ competent hands. If we refuse to delegate we run the risk of fatigue and eventual burnout.

- KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Make sure you know your limits physically, emotionally, intellectual, etc. And never overextend yourself. Refuse to accept added responsibilities because taking on more than you can handle sets you up for a breakdown.

- REGULAR VACATION
Many of us work tirelessly but don't know how to take a break or do not priorities holidays. If care is not taken, you will soon realise it is cheaper to take a holiday, take care of your body and pamper yourself than it is to fall sick.

- ADJUST YOUR STANDARDS
Perfectionism boss a major source of avoidance stress among women. Set reasonable and realistic standards for yourself and others and learn to be satisfied with 'fair enough'. For instance, how can you expect to have a sparkling clean home when you have three toddlers and no domestic help?

- IT'S OKAY TO SAY NO
Avoid unnecessary stress by learning to say no when necessary.

- PEOPLE AND RELATIONSHIP
Stay away from people that stress you out daily e.g. among your coworkers or staff.

- BE ORGANIZED
Get a routine in place. Get your children organized and able to look after their own things.

- STAY FOCUSED AND DISCIPLINED
If you are not focused, people will soon chart a new course for your life.

- AVOID STRIFE
Living a strife filled life, dwelling on negative thoughts, words and emotions causes stress within and emotional turmoil eats away at good health and a sound body. So keep your mind calm and peaceful.

- RECREATION
Someone once said the only recreation. Nigerians know is attending "Owanbe" parties. Proper recreation and unwinding, like exercise, sports etc. Are important in relationships and rebuilding energies expended.

- REST YOUR MIND
If your jib requires a lot of thinking and is mentally tasking, make out time to rest your mind when you get home. You could do something different like watching movie or just emptying your mind. When the mind is calm, health is protected.

- TIME WASTERS
Women love to indulge in excessive gisting, watching TV (Africa Magic), internet addiction and parties (Owanbe). Spend less time on time wasting activities and more time on things that will contribute to your value and attainment of your goals.
