Federal Government employs 200,000 graduates
The Federal government of Nigeria has employed over 50,000 graduates into the civil service. Special Assistant to Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed this today while speaking at the second presidential economic communication workshop in Abuja.
“We have selected 200,000 graduates out of 500,000. This is the first batch. One hundred and fifty thousand will work as teachers while 50, 000 will work as extension workers. Their pay which is 30, 000 per month, will go directly into their account" he said.
He added that the graduates would work for just two years in the civil service.
