Suicide Bomber attacks Maiduguri

According to the police in Borno state, Victor Isuku, the details available presently is that only the suicide bomber was affected.

Victor said: “Information reaching me now is that there was an explosion at custom area.



“Preliminary details available is that only the suicide bomber affected. Now on standby for details soonest.”

However, a resident of the area, Abba Mustapha said the bomb blast was at a tea drinking joint at customs area near the Nigerian Customs Service office.

Meanwhile, the incident comes just few days after a suicide bomb blast hit Kasuwan Shanu cow market area of Maiduguri, Borno state.

It was gathered that one of the suicide bombers blew up while a second bomber was arrested before he could detonate a suicide vest wrapped around his body.
